INVEST IN THE INITIATIVE
The final touches are being added to the Kids First Initiative (KFI) Global Giving Telethon. The excitement is already starting; KFI will be raising funds and having fun at the same time. This year’s event will include music, food, children’s activities, door prizes, silent auction, a raffle, celebrity co-host, and a celebration of donors and volunteers who give of their time, talent and treasures. We invite you, to be part of the celebration of ten years of giving at Buckner’s A Desert Café 19 N. Saginaw St. Downtown Pontiac, MI 48342.
Your tax-deductible gift will help us to feed 2,100 families during the holidays in 4 countries and 30 cities and host 4 city wide job fairs in local communities. Because of your support, we will be able to continue our necktie workshops, college visits, and science, technology, engineering arts, math engagement that has had a lasting impact on the students we serve. Our overall efforts will touch more than 14,000 kids and families in 2016.
This event will be streaming live for 18 hours starting on Saturday, November 5, at 10:00 AM to Sunday, November 6, 4:00 AM. With your help we know this will be our best fundraising event ever. Thank you for your support!
