Kids First Initiative STEAM Ignite is a transformative program that specializes in using hands-on STEAM activities to ignite that STEAM spark in students from underserved communities, so they can drive social change.

Using creative design thinking students will build a robot that can draw

Explore the states of matter while observing some of the properties that make dry ice so unique

DEMONSTRATION V. EXPERIMENT

Students will discover the science behind elephant toothpaste

READY SET BUILD

Our young engineers will use the principles of the engineer design process to design and build structures as they compete against each other and the clock

WHAT GOES UP MUST COME DOWN

In this activity, students will be introduced to force and gravity, as they work together to engineer a structure to protect their valuable cargo

POWER OF ENERGY

Students will get up close and personal with one of the most widely used forms of energy (electricity)

BLAST-OFF

Using chemistry to harness the energy from a reaction, our future astronauts will be able to generate enough force to lunch a rocket

DAY OF THE DRONE

Students will be in the pilot seat as they discover the endless possibilities of drone technology

IS THAT ART

Students will get hands-on as they discover the wonderful world of art
