Who We Are?
Kids First Initiative, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is dedicated to sparking a passion for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) in young people from underserved communities. Our mission is to provide opportunities and resources that empower children to explore, create, and innovate in these critical fields.
KFI: Igniting Futures with a $100,000 Grant

With immense gratitude, KFI acknowledges the transformative $100,000 grant received from the Oakland County Board of Commissioners. This generous support has fueled our mission to creatively engage and empower young people, fostering a brighter future for our community.
Where We've Been
We are thrilled to share the widespread impact our STEAM programs have had on young minds across various communities. Our initiatives have sparked curiosity and fostered a love for science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics, empowering students to become innovative problem-solvers and creative thinkers. We've reached diverse groups of students, providing them with hands-on experiences and mentorship opportunities that inspire future STEAM leaders. We believe in the power of STEAM education to transform lives.
"I want to thank you for all that you've done for the kids! Parents and kids have not stopped inquiring. Your patience with the youth is incredible and we truly appreciate it."
