Benefits of using drones to teach STEAM to kids:

  • Cognitive Development and Critical Thinking. It doesn’t matter whether you’re flying a drone indoors or outdoors. Reacting to changes in flight patterns or environment allows your child to improve their cognitive reasoning skills. They will gain a better understanding of cause and effect. And they will be better equipped to make quick decisions under stress.

  • Enhances Problem-Solving Skills. While flying drones the flyer needs to understand the surrounding environment and atmospheric conditions to proceed with the proper flight. The drones are even equipped with stabilizers. Kids need to provide constant input to fly the drone. Also, kids will have questions raising in their mind like do I need to move right or left, Can I do a barrel roll or spin, etc. while flying the drone. These are the things that enhance problem-solving skills in children.

  • Boosts Creativity. Drones are excellent at boosting children’s creativity and innovative thinking. It’s not just the drones themselves that get creative juices flowing, but also how they use them.

  • Badges. Students can earn different badges for each leave of the course they complete.
